5. SERVICE MODE
• For switching on the instrument in Service Mode, insert the Service Card in the card reader and
switch on the instrument, the instrument will detect the card and switch on the instrument in
the service mode. In this mode the func on menu will be:

4.1 Set Time

Enter the me by the keypad then confirm with Enter it will ask for date

Enter the year, month & date by the keypad and confirm by pressing Enter, it will go back to
service menu

4.2 Light Intensity

In this menu it will show the light intensity received by each sensor (AD value) . This is to
check the sensor performance. ( max value :34521)

4.3 Motor
This is to check the Mixing Process
1. Clock wise ‐ press 1 to rotate clock wise
2. An clock ‐ Press 2 to rotate an clock wise
3. Stop ‐ To stop the rota on

4.4 . Pipe e
This is to check the pipe e with micro switch is func oning well
Pipe e : Out /In (press the pipe e it will show IN and release it will show Out)

4.5 Printer
Check the printer func oning: it will print the com port se ng
4.6 Com Port
Check the Com port func oning: Short the pin no 2 and 3 then press any key it will show in
display if it is func oning well

Baud : 9600
Data : ‐‐ ( Show the key pressed use numerical key and decimal key other key will not
show)
4.7 Barcode
This is to check the func on of barcode reader a ached
Scan a Barcode
It will show the barcode scanned
4.8 Keypad
To check the Key func oning : it will show the Hex code of each key
Press Any Key
Key pressed : 49 31 (only power on and feed key will not
show any code)

4.9 Erase History
To delete the history data from the instrument
Delete History
Press 3 to confirm ?
Press 3 to confirm or Esc to return

4.10 Print Raw

This is to set the raw data prin ng during the measurement
Print raw Result : on
Press ^ to change to ON/OFF
If it is ON , while running a test in the service mode it will print the complete
raw data of both channels

This is take the print out of the complete instrument set up(factory)

6. Factory Mode
• For switching on the instrument in Factory Mode, Insert the Factory Card in the card reader and
switch on the Instrument, the instrument will detect the card and switch on the instrument in
the factory mode. This mode will allow all the internal se ngs of the system . In this mode
except the raw data print op on all service mode op ons are also available in this mode .In this
mode the func on menu will be:

1. Blank Check
This menu is to set the blank value of the channels.
CH 1 : 32564
CH 2 : 367
Block the measuring channel then it will show the blank values for each channel press enter
to save the blank values. A er press enter it return to factory menu
2. Set Temp
This is to set the temperature of the measuring block. For this check with thermometer in
the cuve e holder for 10 min.
Off Set : 20
Heater : Off
Temperature: 37.2 C
To change the temperature adjust offset value.
eg. If the actual temperature is 39 .5 and display temp is 37.0 then increase the offset to
adjust the display temp by 25 . Then display temp also will become 39.5 C. To change offset
press 2 to select and enter by key pad. For confirming press Enter a er se ng to save press 3 ,
then it will return to factory menu.

3. Ch Gain
This is to set the gain of the Channel 1 .
This will be adjus ng the ADC out put value by calcula ng the so ware gain.
The Maximum AD value is :
Adc –Ch1 : 27896
From this menu press enter to calculate and save the Gain. This is required for only
Channel1. A er press enter it will return to factory mode.
4. Motor Speed
This is to adjust the mixing motor speed.
Motor Speed : 6
To increase or decrease use the up and down key. Press Enter to confirm. Then it will return
to Factory mode
5. User Code
This is not used.
