Exercise 08
1. Start Revit 2019.

2. Open the file Exercise_08.rvt

3. Go to Mechanical / HVAC / Elevations / South - Mech

4. Duplicate the current view, and rename it to be South – Mech w/o Levels

5. Select one of the levels, right-click, and choose Hide in View / Category

6. Go to Mechanical / HVAC / Elevations / North - Mech

7. Start Visibility / Graphics command, you are at Model Categories tab, make
sure at Filter list to show Architecture as well as Mechanical , Electrical, and
Piping. Click Annotation Categories, turn off Grids

8. Go to Electrical / Lighting / Ceiling Plans / 00 Ground – Lighting view. Zoom to

the room at the lower right. Create a rectangle callout around this room.
Rename the callout 00 Ground – Lighting – Electrical Room

9. Go to Plumbing / Plumbing / Floor Plan / 00 Ground - Plumbing view. Sketch

callout around the Cafteria, and two toilets, and rename the view to
00 Ground – Plumbing - Cafeteria & Two Toilets

10. Go to Mechanical / HVAC / Floor Plans / 00 Ground – HAVC. Duplicate it, and
rename it to be 00 Ground – HVAC – Manager’s Room. Show the Crop
Region. Resize it to show only the Manager’s room at the left

11. Save and close the file
