SDC OUTAGE UPDATE: LENASIA

City Power Lenasia Service Delivery Centre (SDC) has a total of 198 open calls, 45 have been
logged in the last 24 hours. We have 47 plants that are out of service.

Lenasia A

Lenasia A has 171 open calls, 41 are over 24 hours and 13 plants are out of service.

Current outages:

Eskom is currently onsite dealing with the outages affecting Ennerdale, Lotus and Lunar
Substations. Areas affected include Lenasia South, Ennerdale, Mountain View, Hospital Hill,
Vlakfontein and surrounds.

SA Clay Switching Station: The Eskom team has been busy with repairs, they are expected to
finish this evening. The outage affecting Lenasia SDC, Corobrick and surrounding areas is caused
by cable fault. We apologise for the prolonged outage.

Lenasia B

Lenasia B has 27 open calls, four are over 24 hours and 34 plants are out of service.

Stage 3 loadshedding is underway until 05h00 thereafter Stage 2 loadshedding will be

implemented until 16h00. For the full schedule click here.

Allow an extra 30 minutes for restoration to take place. Customers are urged to switch off non-
essential appliances to avoid incidents of inrush current during restoration. Please note the
inclement weather conditions and loadshedding may delay repairs and restoration.
