Kindergarten Rules and Regulations

Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to Kindergarten!
I am so excited to introduce your children into the world of learning in the classroom! We have so many
exciting activities and lessons planned for this school year. In order to ensure a safe learning environment full
of positivity and fun there are few guidelines and rules that must be followed.
Please review the rules, regulations and requirements for this upcoming year with your child.

Attendance:
- As stated on all school documents and calendars, the school day begins at 8:10am and ends at
2:30pm. Any child that arrives after 8:15am is considered late and must check in through the office.
- Ten or more late arrivals in a school year will result in a parent meeting.
- Students who are not picked up by a guardian or sent to aftercare by 2:45pm will be sent to the office.

Classroom Policies:
Please discuss the following requirements with your child.
- Kindness is required in this classroom. There will be no tolerance of negative words, disrespectful
behavior, or harm toward any staff or fellow students.
- Safety rules must be followed including fire drills, lockdown drills, etc.
- students must communicate respectfully and raise their hand to speak in class.
- Be prepared for class with the required materials.
