Hello my beautiful friends! Can you believe it's November
already? So much has happened since my CTI acceptance
in September and I'm so excited to share these things with
you!

Daily dependency:
Support raising was so new and uncomfortable for me. I
had no experience with asking for spiritual and monetary
support for missions! Although thinking about the amount
of money I have to raise is still daunting, I know my
support raising journey is going to be an opportunity to
learn what it looks like to fully rely on God. I’m learning
that a daily dependency on God is the only way to truly
live through this time of waiting, uncertainty, and prayer!

Still learning to be still:


I love scheduling and being organized and planning things.
But these past few months taught me that only when we
stop moving and stop striving can we recognize the truth
about God: He is in control. This doesn’t mean that I should
take my hands off the wheel and stop being proactive
about support raising. Rather, my hands stay on the wheel
and when worries come, I know I can lift them up to God.

vain conceit. Rather, in
humility value others
above yourselves, not
looking to your own
interests but each of
you to the interests of
the others.

THERE ARE TIMES IN LIFE WHEN IT ALL JUST FEELS
LIKE TOO MUCH. SCHOOL/WORK CAN BE SO
STRESSFUL AND SOMETIMES IT’S HARD TO FIND
TIME TO CHECK IN WITH YOUR BODY TO MAKE SURE
YOU’RE DOING OKAY. I WANT TO OFFER SOME DE-
STRESSOR TIPS FOR YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW
TO GET THROUGH THIS TOUGH TIME!

CARE LOVERS~*
Check out different coffee shops or quiet study
spaces that work for you! Make studying fun by
changing up your study spot!
Compliment a stranger, acquaintance, or even a
close friend, depending on your level of
comfort! LETS SPREAD POSITIVITY DURING
THIS TOUGH TIME < 3
Treat yo self! It ' s important to be kind to
yourself. It ' s as easy as getting yourself a piece
of cake : )
Dance party in your room ! 10 / 10 would
recommend !
Get a massage : ) or do a massage train with
friends at the library during your study break lol
Assess your internet diet! Your time and
attention are limited resources. If your feeds are
full of pointless negativity, consider unplugging
for awhile!
go for a stroll — > the simple act of going
outside can do wonders for your outlook!
Interact with other people and animals : ) )
