Narrative Report
Parent –Teachers Association (PTA) Officers provides a forum for the

exchange of ideas, discussion of issues and formulation of solutions related to
the school program. PTA Officers is the arm of the school to help become a
functional and conducive place for learning. They work hand in hand for the
good and success of the school because school alone cannot stand without the
help of stakeholders.
The Meeting started with the prayer led by yours truly and after that I
discussed the functions and importance of PTA Officers. I opened up also the
importance of vaccination and I told them to encourage other parents to let
their child/ children to be vaccinated. We elected the Officers for 2021-2022.
After that, we planned for the project and we came up with the 1 Lunch
Counter inside the school. Everybody cooperated to the said Meeting.

Narrative Report on Community Feeding Program
Talotog Elementary School learned that true happiness comes from

giving. Helping others along the way makes us evaluate who we are.
Being able to help is a privilege for us how to become concerned
to those who are in need. It helps to understand the spirit of
compassion and to share what we have to abolish the selfishness hidden
deep within us.As it is rightly said,”Sharing and Giving are the ways of
GOD.”
As part of the PTA Officers Activity, we have initiated Giving
“Kabataan aton Amligan, Agud Buas Damlag may
Kasiguraduhan” conducted on June 28,2022, in Purok Lacson,
Brgy. Pandanon Silos, Murcia, Negros Occidental, together with
the support of Barangay Officials .
It started with a prayer led by Jennifer Garcia our Board Member,
followed by the Orientation of Food Safety and Discussion of the
importance of Healthy Habits by Jean S. Odango the Chairman and PTA
adviser. Then after that, Giving of Food like Arozcaldo, bread and Juices
to the Children and Parents. After eating, giving of slippers to more than
100 children, followed by the different games to the children; they
enjoyed and had fun among children in the said Purok. Lastly, our PTA
President Nelly Antique gave us a Closing Remarks. Everybody went
home with a thankful heart.

Accomplishment Report
Parent- Teachers Association Officers is the arm of the school. They work hand in
hand for the good of the school. They discussed a lot of things so that they can help for the
success of the School. Last March 2022, They planned for a project that can help the school
especially for the opening of the progressive face to face classes. They decided to build a
Holding Area Project found beside the gate. This project is very beneficial especially to the
pupils having their limited face to face classes in school, teachers, parents and other
stakeholders entering the school premises. Last June 28, 2022 we had our Feeding Program
at Purok Lacson, Brgy. Pandanos Silos, Murcia Negros Occidental. We had our Gift Giving.
We prepared more than 100 pairs of slippers giving to the Children of Purok lacson as well as
Purok Bougainvilla of Brgy. Pandanon Silos. Then, we had our Feeding Program and giving
prizes for the different games we prepared. This Program was so successful together with
the cooperation of PTA Officers and Brgy. Councils. As a Chairman and PTA Adviser I was
very happy for the cooperation of everybody and for the success of the project and program.

The meeting was held last September 23, 2022.It was started with the
prayer led by yours truly and after that I discussed the functions and
importance of PTA Officers. We elected the Officers for 2022-2023. After that,
we planned for a project and we came up with the Waiting Area Project. We
decided that every quarter we will have our activity which is the Feeding and
Gift Giving Program at different Purok of Pandanon Silos.Everybody cooperated
to the said Meeting.

And….you will be called CHAMPION.

Accomplishment Report
Parent- Teachers Association Officers is the arm of the school. We work hand in
hand for the success of the school. We sit down and discussed a lot of things so that they
can help for the betterment of this school. Last September 2022, We planned for a project
that can help the school especially for the benefit of the pupils as well as parents in school.
We decided to build a Waiting Area Project at the right side, beside the gate of PSES. This
project is very beneficial especially to the pupils having face to face classes in school,
which can help to our pupils to relax, do homework or eat snacks, especially our dear
parents where they can stay while waiting for their children. Last October 28, 2022 we had
our Feeding Program at Purok Pradahan, Brgy. Pandanos Silos, Murcia Negros Occidental.
We had gift- giving and feeding program. We prepare things that can used at home like
blankets,curtain and apron. We gave also clothes, bags to children and parents of Purok
Pradahan of Brgy. Pandanon Silos. Then, we had our Feeding Program and giving prizes for
the different games we prepared. This Program was so successful together with the
cooperation of PTA Officers and Brgy. Councils. The joy in every eyes of the parents and
children are priceless and all the effort was paid off. As a Chairman and PTA Adviser I was
very happy for the cooperation of everybody and for the success of the project and
program.

At a Meeting of the Parent- Teachers’Association of Pandanon Silos Elementary School,

Purok Tangke, Pandanon Silos, Murcia, Negros Occidental on September 23,2022.
Whereas , the General PTA of Pandanon Silos Elementary School, Purok Tangke, Pandanon
Silos, Murcia, Negros Occidental resolved as follows:
Whereas, the General PTA of Pandanon Silos Elementary School support the school
programs and projects and joins in any school activities in line with its mission, vision and goals for
School- Year 2022-2023.
Whereas, the General PTA of Pandanon Silos Elementary School takes actions and responds
to the arising problems and the like of the School Year 2022-2023.
Whereas, the General PTA of Pandanon Silos Elementary School coordinate efforts to
effectively and efficiently allocate funds for the needs of the school and children.
Whereas, the General PTA of Pandanon Silos Elementary School put up a project which is
the Waiting area to help our pupils to relax, do homework or eat snacks, especially our dear
parents where they can stay while waiting for their children.

CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF THE PARENT -TEACHER ASSOCIATION
ARTICLE 1
Name and Purpose
Section 1: Name
The name of the organization shall be the Talotog Elementary School Parent Teacher Association
(TES PTA), hereinafter referred as the PTA. The PTA is an unincorporated, non-profit organization.
Section 2: Purpose
The primary purpose of the PTA is to:
a) Maintain an understanding, working relationship among the school administration and teachers,
the parents of the students in the school and others interested in the stated mission and core
beliefs of PSES.
b) Provide the TES community with fun and family-friendly activities and celebrations throughout
the year.
c) Provide services and programs in support of scholastic pursuits and extra-curricular activities of
the students, in accordance with established school policy.
d) Raise funds, transact business and exercise such functions as are necessary in the execution of
the stated objectives of the organization.
ARTICLE II
Membership
Section 1: Membership
Parents/guardians of all students currently enrolled at PSES, as well as all faculty members and
school administrators, are members of the PTA.
Section 2: Non-Profit Character of the PTA
The PTA shall be exclusively non-profit benefiting no individuals; no part of its activities shall relate
to political or religious aims. It supports the school in providing education that promotes learning
and further cultural and international understanding.
ARTICLE III
Code of Conduct
The organization shall be non-commercial, non-sectarian, and non-partisan. The organization shall
seek to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and educators may
cooperate for the betterment of the education of our youth. No part of the net earnings of the
organization shall inure to the benefit or be distributable to its members, trustees, officers, or
other private persons, except that the organization shall be authorized and empowered to pay
reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in
furtherance of the purposes set forth in these Articles of Association. No substantial part of the
activities of the organization shall be the carrying of propaganda.
RESPONSIBLITIES OF PARENT- TEACHER ASSOCIATION ( PTA)
PRESIDENT
(3-6 hours/week)
 Run, preside over, and set the agenda for meetings

 Liaise with principal and the executive board
 Provide site staff with updates on PTA Activities
 Submit all school- wide PTA communications to principal approval
 Sign checks and other financial documents
 Work with all committee chairs to execute approved activities
 Call, attend and run run executive board meetings

 Recruit new PTA members

 Maintain and update membership forms (online and paper) including translations
 Maintain, with secretary, roster of current Members
 Work with community building Committee to foster increased volunteerism from within
the community.
TREASURER
 Maintain accurate financial records of all incoming and outgoing payments

 Serve on budget committee, create budget for the year
 Handle incoming payment, deposit in a timely fashion
 Write checks for all approved expenses ( with President’s signature)
 Reconcile accounts monthly with bank statement
 Provide written reports with updated financial status at every association and executive
meeting
 Submit books for audit2x per year
 Prepare annual financial report
 Comply with all state and federal tax- filling requirement
 Forward through appropriate channels.
