SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTACT INFO

Hello!
Thank you for your support erinmaycrochet.etsy.com
of erinmaycrochet! I hope
this free pattern expresses
some of my gratitude for erinmaycrochet
that support. This little
ladybug (or “lady-gug” as amigurumi.com/shop/erinmaycrochet
my son would call her) is
as sweet as can be and
loves to spend her time instagram.com/erinmaycrochet
among the flowers. She’d
feel right at home among
any Bumble Blossoms and pinterest.com/erinmaycrochet
would be happy to share
the flowers with some erinmaycrochet@gmail.com
bumblebee neighbors.

PATTERN NOTES & TIPS

As with all amigurumi patterns,
stitches should be worked tightly to
achieve the desired shape.
Each round is worked in a spiral and
does not need to be joined unless
otherwise specified.
You may crochet the pattern using
yarn-over or yarn-under stitches.
The project in the photo was
crocheted using yarn-under stitches.
Pattern is written in US terms.

ASSEMBLY
Sew the shell to the base using the long yarn tail left on the shell. Sew into the
back loops of round 10 of the shell and the front loops of round 6 of the base
(pic 1). Add stuffing material before sewing the final loops closed (pics 2-3).

6
Add the line to the back of the body. Using black yarn, insert a needle into one
side of the body and come out on the other side where the shell and base were
sewn together. Tie a knot in the yarn (pic 4) and gently pull the other end of
the yarn until the knot is pulled inside the body (pic 5). This will keep the line
from loosening or coming out on this side of the body. Wrap the yarn over the
center of the shell to create the two sides of the shell. Cut the yarn and tie off
the other end securely (pic 6). This end will be hidden inside the head once the
head is sewn to the body and will not be visible.

4 5 6

Add safety eyes to the head before sewing the head to the body. Position the
eyes on the sides of the head between rounds 2-3 (pic 7). Sew the head to the
body using the long yarn tail left on the head. Place the head on the body over
where the line on the shell was tied off and secured (pics 8-9). Add stuffing
material before sewing the final stitches of the head to the body.

Place the dots on the shell and sew in place using the long yarn tails left on the
dots and a mattress stitch.

10 11

Sew the legs to the body using the long yarn tails left on the legs (pic 12). Place
the legs on the body below the remaining loops of red yarn left from when the
shell was sewn to the base (pic 13).

12 13

Remaining loops
of round 10 of the shell

Sew the antennae to the head behind the eyes between rounds 4-5 using the
long yarn tails left on the antennae (pic 14). Use white yarn to add detail to the
eyes (pics 15-16).
