3 Providing M S sheet 16 SWG steel fabricated floor mounted closed almirah type switch board __ No. Each
including angale iron post of suitable height and size ISA 65x65x6mm duly painted comprising and
capable of mounting the following accessaries with all internal electric connections.
Note:- The drawing of panel board shall be subject to approval of Engineer in charge.

feeder for motors offered by the tenderer conforming to BIS: 2516-1985 latest with upto date
ammendments with neutral linked under voltage release.
f) Three phase indicating lamps complete with toggle switches for individual motors conforming to BIS: 3452 __ Sets Each

g) Earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) of Standard/ Havell's make as per BIS: 2516-1977 with upto date __ No. Each
ammendments and of suitaible range with which should have control box, operating handel and trip/reset
bush button, on/ off indicators, re-indicating off spring condition of the circuit breaker for over current
protection. The circuit should be equipped with magnetic thermal release with metallic tape CTs.It should
also be fitted with earth fault for tripping of breaker on occurance of earth fault on/off breaker load side.

swing check type reflux valve having bye pass arrangement and one size higher to delivery size of pump

class ASA-300 for seat pressure 52 Kg/cm² as per BS 1868 (API 600) .
(d) Supply of Kirloskar/Jyoti/Standard/KilburnKartar make cast iron double flanged sluice valve or foot valve on
suction side of pump having size one step higher than the suction size of pump
NOTE:-TheC.I. sluice valve shall conform to BIS: 780-1984 & the foot valve shall conform to BIS 4838-1986 (latest edition) .
5 (a) Providing & laying PVC insulated armoured power copper cable of Siemens/Finolex/Grandlay/
Gloster make conforming to BIS:1554 (Part I) -1988 or latest with up to date ammendments of suitable
size for the pump sets offered(one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment
/accessories such as thimbles,flexible pipe, solder, nuts & bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or
trenches under floor .The type,size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.In case
of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of cost.

NOTE:-The strip size shall be 20x3 upto 18.5 KW, 25x3 for 18.5 to 37 KW, 25x5 for 37 to 55 KW & 32x5 beyond 55 KW.
(c) Supply & errection of floor/wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS 2834-1986 __ Nos. Each
latest with upto date ammendments of BHEL/GEC/Machneil/ Mager/Bajaj make to raise the prevailing
power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually,of required KVAR
according to HP of motor offered including cable of Siemens/Gloster/ICC make from busbar chamber
chamber to capacitor & also including ICTP switches Kilburn/L&T/Standard/Siemen's/Havell's of conforming to
4064-1978 or latest with HRC fuses (Range to be specified by the tenderer.)
6(a) Supply of 100mm dia circular/square dial pressure gaugeof suitable rangeof Fiebeg/Bourden/ Precision/PREGA __ Nos. Each
make with all accessories such as stop cock,copper tubing etc. conforming to BIS:3624-1987 latest
with up to date ammendments.
(b) Supply of 100mm dia circular/square dial vacuum gauge of suitable range of Fiebeg//Bourden/ Precision/PREGA __ Nos. Each
make with all accessories such as stop cock,copper tubing etc. conforming to BIS: 3624-1987 latest
with up to date ammendments.
7 Prov. & laying MSERW pipes conforming to BIS; 1978-82 of suitable size for suction,delivery and common
header considering site requirements & NPSH required / available.The pipe sizes for suction & delivery shall as
per the requirement of offered pump and common header shall be equal to dia of R/main including cost of tapers,
flanges (conforming to relevant table of BIS:6392-1971), bends, rubber gaskets,3mm thick nuts & bolts and
 specials up to 5 mtrs.away from the outer wall of pump house as per layout drawing approved by Engineer-in-
Charg. Pipe & material shall be capable of withstanding field test pressure equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure

Terms & Conditions:

1 Pumping machinery and all other equipments or allied accessories shall be guaranteed for 12 months from the date of
commissioning.
2 All the equipments or accessories to be supplied shall be of of suitable capacity /rating and shall be only of the make as
specified in NIT . Nothing extra shall be paid for any change in capacity / rating of the equipments offered if the
same does not fulfil the requirements as per NIT
3 Original Charachstric curve /selection chart of the offered pumpset duly marked with discharge, total head, efficiency,
BHP and NPSH required at duty point and (-) 25% & (+)10% of total head , must accompany with the tender, otherwise the
same will be summarily rejected. The Ch. curve shall be legible and must be signed by the tendering contractor/firms
4 In case the efficiency of the offered pump is less than 60%, the offer of the contractor shall be rejected straightway
5 The respective class & sizes of refluxe valves/sluice valves (for delivery & suction side) shall be mentioned clearly and shall
carry a guarantee of minimum two years. The make of valve shall be either engraved or cast inside the body of the valve.

make from switch to starter & starter to motor (one cable for carrying all three phases)
including all other electrical equipment /accesories such as thimbles,flexible pipes, 1 LS
solder,nuts & bolts,cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor. Job
 The type,size & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.In case of non

(c) P/L double loop earthing with copper plate 600x600x3mm thick electrode complete with
material such as charcoal, common salt ,GI pipes,thimbles,nuts & bolts,digging of pits,GI wiring 1 LS
& 25x5mm copper strips of required capacity conforming to BIS 3043-1987 latest with up to date Job
ammendments for above motors & other electrical equipment.

(d) Supply & errection of floor/wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS 2834-
1986 latest with upto date ammendments BHEL/GEC/Machneil/ Mager/Bajaj make to raise the
prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor 2 Each
individually,of required KVAR according to HP of motor offered including cable Siemens/ No.
Gloster/ICC make from busbar chamber to capacitor & also including LT/LK/Kilburn
make ICTP switches conforming to BIS 4064-1978 or latest with HRC fuses (Range to be
specified by the tenderer.

6(a) Supply of standarad make 100mm dia circular dial pressure gauge of suitable range Fiebeg/ 2 Each

including tapers,flanges,rubber gaskets,3mm thick as per BIS-2712-1978 nuts & bolts as per Job
1364-1983 & special up to 5 mtrs. away from the outer wall of pump house as per layout drawings
approved by Engineer-in-Charge The pipes shall be capable of withstanding 1.5 times the
total presure indicated in item no. 1e(ii).
NOTE:- Actual laying to be done as per final drawings to be approved by the Engineer in charge

8 Supply of antivibration pads conforming to BIS 6337-1971 or latest with upto date 2 Each
