Pitch, Research and After having the pitch, it took me a long while to come up with an idea as I

with an idea. I spent this time trying to brainstorm ideas but my main
focus at this point was setting up all of the pages needed on Weebly.
Work Experience I had already completed all of work experience so that week I had finally
26/02 Week started piecing my final idea for the FMP together and I managed to come
up with a really sentimental idea that I am looking forward to starting.
Introduce FMP Proposal, I started my pre-production proposal power point which I managed to
begin Pre-prod/Research complete by the end of that same week- my idea is one that I am
04/03 particularly passionate about so I knew exactly what I wanted to say/write
in the proposal. From next week I plan to start some pre-production
worksheets and even start conducting some primary/secondary research.
Pre-prod / Research / I have started conducting some primary and secondary research- I made a
Reflection survey asking a few general questions and gained about 20 responses. My

reflection log is coming along really nicely and I am getting a lot of entries
done after each lesson/week.
Pre-prod / Research / I have started recording some of my dads old video tapes that I will be
18/03 Reflection showcasing in my FMP. I hope to have finished filming these within the
next month, maybe just under.

Production / Reflection
Easter 2 weeks
Production Over Easter I went back to West London where I grew up with my dad and

And Reflection I managed to film a lot.
Production and I have now started the editing process and I have started off by editing a
Reflection lot of my dad’s video tapes. This week I also started filming at my dad’s

grave location as it is something that I have been planning for a while but
the weather was never really too nice to do that.
Production and I have been working a lot on editing all of the interviews that I conducted
Reflection of myself and my sisters as that is going to be the biggest part of my entire

documentary and there is a lot of footage from those interviews that I
need to go over, cut down and import into the documentary.
Production and Over the bank holiday I did film at my dad’s grave again as I did want to
Reflection film from different angles and just to make sure that I had enough footage
that I could select and use. I have also started sorting out my entire
06/05 Weebly page as there were a lot of gaps and things that I had been
missing which is something that I did need to go over and make sure that I
am adding everything into my reflective blogs that I can in order to
achieve the best grade possible.
Production and This week I have made sure to start editing absolutely everything, I
Reflection needed to put all of the footage I have edited in order and so far I have
managed to edit about 8 and a half minutes of the entire documentary.

There are still some things that I need to go over and see if they work well
in the place, they are in but overall I am really pleased with how it is
turning out.
Complete practical This week I have finished editing my final documentary and I have
element/ plan survey exported the final piece which is now uploaded to youtube.
20/05 and feedback/ designing I have also submitted my exhibition poster and am really happy with how
and submission of that’s turned out.
