Field Trip 5.3

To the Wildflower Center! We will leave at 8:45 and return after lunch. Please be sure to pack a picnic lunch for your child.

Student Edition!
This week the students have documented the news in the classroom!
We had Mr. Timm for a special visitor in our classroom and we learned about brushing our teeth and what can happen when we drink soda and grape juice or cranberry juice. We also learned some stuff in music and we also learned stuff in Jesus time! -Jordyn Last week it was Ms. Maloys birthday! And tomorrow we are going to have a spring program! The theme this year is a circus and the Kindergartners are going to be elephants and PK-3s are clowns and the PK-4s are horses! -Darrell On Friday we celebrated Ms. Maloys birthday and we had cupcakes. Tomorrow is our spring program! At our spring program we will balance on the balance beam, jump through hoops, do spring board and we will juggle like clowns and act like elephants! -Calum I liked our Jesus time Parables and I liked Mr. Timm coming and taking out the eggs. I also liked journals today, music on April th the 26 , 2012! -Luke On the weather it was partly cloudy, I think. The date was 4-26-12 and the th tallies were 26. We are on the 155 day of Kindergarten! W e learned about Jesus at Jesus time! -Logan I liked when we did our elephant ears and today we got to do the parade! (for the spring program) I liked when we jumped on the spring board and I liked when we got to jump through hoops and bow! - Iohan

Mr. Timm (a student teacher) came in this week and taught us about exercise, sleep, nutrition, safety and dental hygiene! What a special treat it was to h ave him in our classroom!

I liked when we did our spring program we jumped through hoops and I liked when Mr. Timm was our special visitor! I liked everything and I liked snacked and morning meeting and Jesus time and closing devotion. I liked when we did our calendar clipboards and our story time! Mr. Timm told us about brushing our teeth and then we brushed eggs! - Cristian I like practicing for our circus thing its tomorrow! I liked to go and do some of the things for our spring program! I cant wait for it and I hope everything goes really good! -Hannah I am doing a good job on my handwriting and for the circus I am good at doing the balance beam! The Spring Program is tomorrow! A nd I liked my library book and I like to read it! -Ellie I liked when we got to be all kinds of animals! It was fun to be seen today by other friends in the school! It was fun when we got to do all the things in the gym! Its fun when we read stories and music time is a really fun time and I liked when we got to play our own game outside! -Cameron

As youve read, spring program practice was a focus this week! We all hope you enjoy the program! Along with our special lessons on health this w eek, we also practiced reviewing our handwriting, Jesus parables and enjoyed reading and writing in various ways! Next week we will study nature complete with a trip to the Wildflower center! We will also continue to practice our neat handwriting and sentence writing! Book b ags will come home next week as well!
