Waste Management on
Students’ Health
II. Statement of the Problem
Main Research Question:
• How does improper waste management affect students’
health?

Specific Research Questions:

• How does the school implement their school waste
management?
• How can improper waste disposal be harmful to students?
• What health-related diseases are caused by improper waste
disposal?
III. Scope and Limitations
• The researchers focused on Junior High
School students at Sto. Domingo Integrated
School because many students mostly lack
discipline when it comes to following and
implementing waste segregation.
IV. Review of Related Literature
• Our study is related to the chosen literature
because it has similar perspectives when dealing
with how waste management can be solved.

management program in the SDIS community. Moreover, the
study also aims to list down negative and potential harm of
improper handling of waste to students’ health.
With this, we respectfully ask for your permission to

management in students health
VII. Conclusion and Recommendations
• Improper waste management can be harmful because it can cause a lot of
diseases.

• According to research sample the result shows that the school lacks
implementation of proper waste management, which leads to harmful
effects such as water contamination and other health-related diseases.

• Provision of adequate public waste bins is necessary for proper solid waste
management. Having an access to public waste bins prevents improper
waste disposal practices by the students and the other people . Waste bins
should be provided particularly to avoid dumping of waste in unauthorized
places.
