Mobile Learning

• This platform is already partially in place in my


school.

• The Web filters and access points connect to these


services and device types.

• System already has some mobile learning carts


with these devices in them.
Accommodations for Students Without Devices

• Devices will be available for these students in


the library by using some of the mobile carts
present at school already.

• Student will check out a device from the library


as soon as they get to school.

• Student will have to return the device to the


library before they leave.

• Non-returned or damaged devices will be the


responsibility of the student and their parents
through a permission form given at the Open
House.

6 Apps Description of Apps

Chemical Balancer Equation Pro Allows students to practice and experiment with solving
and balancing chemical equations.
Electricity Calculator Provides students with a fun experience that shows them
how much electricity they use daily, weekly, monthly, or
yearly.
Metrics Conversion Pro This app is practice for metric conversion which is part of
both math and science standards for 8th grade. Being
able to convert is crucial for science.
Periodic Table This app Helps students with the elements which is one
of the largest parts of the 8th grade science standards. It
goes into detail including groups and periods of elements.
Science 360 This app has tons of videos that could be used to enrich
learning for early completers and higher level students.
Sound Meter Pro The app allows students to see visually how amplitude
and loudness are related through a graph.
