INTRODUCTION

According to Marketing Intelligence firm, Sensor Tower,Mobile


Legends generates us $20 million in total revenue.Twenty-one
percent of the revenue came from Malaysia and 19% of it came
from Indonesia.These two countries have been the main target
for Moonton’s events recently.
– Mobile Legend is created by China developer is Moonton Technology Co. Ltd and Shanghai
mulong network and technology Co; Ltd. July 11,2016.Mobile Legend Bang Bang is a game
designed which only for phone this game has two opposing teams to defend the fort so as not
taken over by the opponent. Besides, Mobile Legends is very popular and in demand from
various circles from teenagers to adults. This game is very popular in Asian as many as ten
million accounts are known to have downloaded this game on the Google Play Store. The role
is there are two group fights to reach and destroy the enemy’s castle while defending their
own castle to defend the castle they have the control the path they pass through. According to
Juvents Vax, There are positive and negative effects. The positive effects are: Improving brain
functions and educating children. The negative effects are: distraction while performing
another important activity, affecting social interaction, sleep problems and loss of productivity
-There are three lines the first is Upper, Lower, and Middle. Those lines connect the
road to the castle. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is a popular game that is well known
for players who have the interest pf playing Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA).
Mobile Legends is a MOBA game that re developed and published by Moonton. The
game is specifically designed to be played on your mobile phones, although you can
still play it on PC by using Android or IOS emulator. This game is similar to other
MOBA games such as DOTA2 and League of Legends.
– According to Juvents Vax, There are positive and negative effects. The positive
effects are: Improving brain functions and educating children. The negative effects
are: distraction while performing another important activity, affecting social
interaction, sleep problems and loss of productivity
– But think of it, playing mobile games have a positive and negative effects to
the player of it especially in mobile legends players. The positive effects is
improving brain function and the negative effect is affecting social
interaction. Our group came up to thestudy to shoew that there is also a
effects in mobile legends to the behavior of the students
STATEMENT OF THE
PROBLEM

– In this study, the researcher's aim is to know the effects of mobile legends to
the TVL Students in LYFJSHS. This study seeks to answer the questions:
– 1. How long (time) the respondents used to play mobile legends?
– 2. What are the possible effects of playing mobile legends to the TVL
Students in LYFJSHS?
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE
STUDY

– The benefits of this research is to know the limitation of the students


in LYFJSHS to play Mobile Legends and also to have more time to
his/her study
– The other benefits of this research is to know the positive and
negative effects and to be aware to play mobile legends
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

– The research will be conduct at Luis Y. Ferrer Jr.


Senior Highschool and our respondents are from
the TVL students with 50 participants.

LITERATURE
Addiction
– According to fajarharapan, Many teenagers and even adults are addicted to the game
even willing to spend money to access or play the game becomes more fun, even a field
of money for those who can seize the opportunity in the application of a game. Almost
70% of people who play the game will be addicted and eventually when they gradually
play the game will feel bored and will choose the latest game again. Addictions or
addiction to this game usually occurs in families whose parents are very busy and
broken home their socialization to their friends and the outside world is lacking, as their
attention and ffection of poor parents.
– According to epexiie94, My addiction had changed my entire personality. I was
becoming more aggresive (not to people, but to the mobile phone I was playing on),
and became a toxic player in every team that I was put in. I smashed 3 phones in one
week. Had my tablet repaired after I broke the LCD, then broke it again 2 days later
because I was lagging pretty badly. People were afraid of giving me their phones, for
fear of having to buy a new one. I converted a lot of people into playing Mobile
Legends (If I was a sales rep for the game, the devs would be making millions), but in
the process I was losing my sense of reality. I became emotionally unstable, and
would often miss playing MLBB even if I stopped playing for just a few hours. The
bright student who carried a high GPA and a good record was suddenly a mosh pit of
doomed failure, disappointment and depression.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS

– According to Chris Davis-Falco, Dangerous Distraction The first negative effect of mobile
gaming is the potential for distraction when performing another more important activity, such
as driving. Video games should never be played while driving. Some mobile games use the
internet and have the ability to push information and notifications to a player even when the
player is not actively playing. The game may send these alerts while a player is driving, and the
player may not identify the alert's origin as being from a game, or be tempted to check it
anyways, creating a potentially dangerous situation.
Out of Control Spending Many mobile games operate on a "free to premium" business
model, where the basic game is free, but extras within the game cost money. Some
players have found themselves spending large sums of money while playing games, in
an out of control fashion. These types of games are potentially very dangerous to
gamers with any type of addictive personalities. There have also been reports of
parents allowing their children to use their devices to play their free games, and their
children have somehow managed to purchase items accidentally, with no way for the
parent to receive a refund.
POSITIVE EFFECTS
– Gaming is said to be good for the brain in many ways.
1. Good for the brain It’s said that many video games are good for the brain. A research
conducted by the German researchers’ shows that people who play games for 30 minutes a day
gained positive impacts on brain including memory formation, fine motor skills, spatial
navigation, strategic planning and fine motor skills. All these areas positively affect the
brain.Also, fast-paced games promoted better learning and memory retention.
2. Positive effect on kids Mobile gaming has a positive effect on kids which includes classroom
engagement, enhances study habits, students grasping power and their test scores. Also, there
are various mobile games that help them to understand many subject related topics. This makes
learning a fun and interesting thing to do for the kids.
3. Helping to improve health problems It’s hard to understand but gaming
is helping to fight certain health problems. In a Children’s National Health
System in the District of Columbia are using games to tackle diseases like
sickle cell disease. The faculty also programs games that fight memory loss
which can be a symptom of sickle cell disease.
– 4. Helping people stay fit Mobile gaming makes people healthy in an interesting and in an
effective manner. There are games in which you need to follow the diets and the
commitments because if they don’t they have to pay an agreed amount to another user is
keeping the pact.This is indeed, a good way to stay healthy and fit. These games are having
a positive effect on people.Gamification can certainly work on many diseases including
obesity, which a big problem in America.
– 5. Making the world a better place to live Thanks to some games like ‘Tree story’
which actually grows new trees. In this virtual game, players sow seeds and grow
them. At the end when they send it to the forests, actual trees are grown. This is a
heartwarming twist!With the increased use of mobile games, the owners of this
industry are working to make games that are not only interesting but have social,
health or other benefits. This is a great way to enhance the overall development of
the people and society. Mobile gaming is the new way to enhance the skills of people
