INTRODUCTION
• Christian Marie Marc Lacroix is a French fashion
designer, born on 16th may 1951 in Arles, in the south of
France.
• In 1975, he opened his own haute couture house.
•His product line includes fragrance, Home, Accessories,
Bridal Wear, Pret a Porter.
•In 1989 year he expanded his boutiques within Paris,
Arles, London, Geneva, and Japan.
• Soon he became famous for (short puffball skirt), rose
prints, and low decollate necklines.

HOTEL LE PETIT MOULIN
• This beautiful 17 rooms hotel is situated in Marais District of Paris.
•Each room have different theme.
•There is no harmony of colors, styles or forms.

CONCEPT
“ It brings to mind a doll’s house, or those cross
sections of buildings you might see in 20th
century encyclopedias, with very different
atmospheres from one floor to the next.”

PRODUCT RANGE
•Christian Lacroix produces a
wide range of products from
extravagance haute couture to
rugs.
•For this hotel he mainly
produced carpets, wallpapers,
collection of fabrics for curtains
and upholstery.
FABRICS
•Printed fabrics, velvet, sateen and wool upholstery were mainly used in this collection to
add luxurious finish to the rooms.
•Aesthetical and Antimicrobial finishes were given to rugs and curtains.
•Static finishes
DESIGNS
• Floral and paisleys motifs were
common, whereas contemporary was
also used throughout the collection.

• Major colors used are red, black,


yellow blue, orange.
• Polka dot and floral prints were
used.
• Embroidered upholstery was used
