Detailed Plan

O The plan is to replace the circular wheels of the

tractor into a continuous track wheels . The goal is
to help the farmers to move the continuous track
wheeled tractors to the muddy and loamy soils
that the other tractors cant reach because the
circular wheeled tractors are getting stuck in the
muddy area s . This is to help farmers to move their
crops and other things from place to another place
and not afraid to get stuck in the mud . These
picture will show you the finished plan .
Description of each other

1.Continuous track- is a system of vehicle

propulsion used in tracked vehicles, running on
a continuous band of treads or track plates
driven by two or more wheels. The large surface
area of the tracks distributes the weight of the
vehicle better than steel or rubber tires on an
equivalent vehicle, enabling continuous tracked
vehicles to traverse soft ground with less
likelihood of becoming stuck due to sinking.

O 2.Circular wheels - wheel is a circular
block of a hard and durable material at
whose center has been bored a circular
hole through which is placed an axle
bearing about which the wheel rotates
when a moment is applied by gravity or
torque to the wheel about its axis,
thereby making together one of the six
simple machines.
Circular wheels
O 3.Tractor- A tractor is an engineering vehicle
specifically designed to deliver a high tractive
effort (or torque) at slow speeds, for the
purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery
used in agriculture or construction. Most
commonly, the term is used to describe a farm
vehicle that provides the power and traction to
mechanize agricultural tasks, especially (and
originally) tillage, but nowadays a great variety
of tasks.

Functional requirement
O If you want a less ground pressure, you
have to choose the tracks. The tracks
have a lower ground pressure than
wheels and are more suited to soft
surfaces. For soft surfaces can be used
larger tires, but these has limits and
cannot work in all conditions – for
example on snow.
Cost requirement
O The costs for this project can be expensive or
affordable .
O When you choose to be more reliable it can be
expensive because it will use the continuous
wheels that are often used in tanks and I believe it
can be bought abroad and its so expensive .

O When you choose to be more budget friendly this

project can also be possible using old tires of big
trucks to form a rubber type of continuous wheels
that are same in the tanks .
Reliability requirement
O The continuous band of treads driven by a series of wheels is
used when the wheels cannot be used. In this area can be added
a variety of scenarios, including the move on uneven terrain or
when it’s needed high traction.

O If you want a less ground pressure, you have to choose the tracks.
The tracks have a lower ground pressure than wheels and are
more suited to soft surfaces. For soft surfaces can be used larger
tires, but these has limits and cannot work in all conditions – for
example on snow.

O compared with wheels, continuous tracks have high performance

and optimized traction system, which is a plus in power delivery
efficiency.
O using continuous tracks, a robot can operate on rough terrain
while the wheels can get stuck. Also, the continuous band of
treads can ascend and descend stairs, surmount obstacles, or
cross ditches.
O rubber tracks has a lower PSI on the ground. That means a less
impact on the ground, especially when the tractor is heavy.
Environmental impact
O The continuous wheeled tractor has less
environmental impact because as shown in the
reliability requirement because it has less
ground pressure , it does not negatively effect
the soil because it has lower pressure applied
on the ground and compare to circular wheels
continuous wheels the land was not dug and it
does not destroy the soil.
