Corporate Strategy decisions include:


a. Investment diversification – investment diversification can be summed up with the phrase
“Don’t put your eggs in one basket” and most investors are familiar with this.

b. Vertical integration – is an approach where a company expands its business operations’ into
different steps on the same production path, such as when a manufacturer owns its supplier
and/or distributor.

c. Acquisition – is to take over the company.

d. New ventures – new concepts of business develop with the intent of profiting financially.

e. Allocation of resources in different business of the firms – a process and strategy involving a
company deciding to allocate resources in different businesses of the company.
