Sir,
We, on behalf of the students of class IX of your school, beg to state that we wish to make a study tour to Pokhara. We feel that mere reading of
books cannot make our knowledge complete unless we see the things with our own eyes. Study tour is not only interesting but also instructive. It
widens our knowledge of history and tradition. It also broadens our outlook. Moreover, monotonous classes make our life dull and boring. It is
known to us that the tour will relive us from this monotony of our daily routine life. We have managed all the arrangements needed for the tour.
We ,altogether 50 students along with three teachers, are planning to go on a study tour. We are thinking of going to Pokhara by bus. We will stay
there for three days. We will visit the interesting places there. We will go boating on Phewa lake. We trek to Sarankot and see the enchanting
natural beauty of Pokhara from the top of the Sarang hill. Three teachers have agreed to guide us during the tour. This study tour will cost about
Rs.200000. We are ready to contribute half of the total expenditure. We would like to request you to join us and be a great guardian during our
journey.
We, therefore, would request you to kindly permit us to go on the tour and we hope that you would be kind enough to give us the permission
and financial help.

Subject: Prayer for permission to go on a study tour.
Sir,
With due respect, we would like to inform you that we, the students of class IX, wish to go on a study tour to
Ilam and Dhankuta. We feel that we should know about our country and learn about various important places.
Mere bookish knowledge does not satisfy us unless we see things with our own eyes. Such a visit to this place
will give us a clear idea of our glorious history. We hope that this tour will widen our knowledge, ideas and
outlook. Our team will consist of 25 students and two teachers and it will take two days for the tour. We have
already collected money. But we need more monetary assistance from the school fund.
We shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow us to make the tour and sanction us a handsome amount as
monetary assistance.
