 OVERVIEW OF COMMISSIONS.NG

• Commissions.ng is the simplest way to go into e-commerce in

Nigeria, an online platform for people who want to make
money online.

• We build and manage websites while agents sell/market and

make commissions.

• We have the Market Place module, the Hotel Module, Flight

booking module, Webhosting Module and the Business
Module.

• Simply put, it’s the easiest way to go into E-commerce in

Nigeria.
 SOME COMMON TERMINOLOGIES
• Modules: These the business types of our websites. An example is The Market
Place Module.
• Commission: Every agent on our platform earns a commission on every sale
they make. The agents also gets a commission for bringing in new clients
through referral.
• Referral: Referrals are other ways people earn on commissions.ng. For referring
a person to our community using the referral link on your dash board you earn a
commission of 20%.
• Vendors: These are the owners of the preloaded products on the sites.
• Agents: These are the sellers or owners of sites who close the sales of products
and services on the sites. They earn commissions on each sales or services
offered.
• Domain name: A domain name is the address where Internet users can access
your website. If someone types in www.yourdomain.com it will go to your
website and no one else's. 
• E-wallet: An E-wallet, sometimes called a digital wallet, is a secure place that
contains a currency purse. This is where your commissions earned are deposited
into pending the time of withdrawal. 
 THE MODULES
It is worthy of note that currently, there are 5 modules on Commissions.ng for you to
either choose from or buy all. We have the E-commerce or Market Place Module, the
Hotel Module, Flight Booking Module, Webhosting Module and the Business
Module.

The best part is, your earnings are attached to each and every one of these modules.
When you make a sale, you get paid a commission. For instance, you buy a market
place module from Commissions.ng e.g. www.bityplace.com.ng; anytime someone
buys an item from Bityplace, the owner of that site earns a cash percentage of the
cost of that product. Amazing right?! It is! Now let’s break down these modules.

 THE E-COMMERCE/MARKET PLACE MODULE

The Market Place module otherwise known as the E-commerce module contains over 5,000
products and services of over 30 different categories (including mobile top-up) that the agent can
immediately start selling upon activation of a website. This is your own Jumia and Konga.

• These products belong to our vendors and suppliers, and you earn a commission on every sale
you make.
• This commission is deposited in your e-wallet where it is kept safe until you request to cash-
out and it will be paid into your bank account.
• Because of the large amount of products on the website we give to you, the commission on
the product varies from product to product. The minimum is 1.5% and it can go up to 30%
• If you have your own products to sell, you can also add them to the site and you become both
a vendor and an agent.
• Your customers will be able to pay using their debit cards, via bank transfers or pay on
delivery.
• After each order, we will deliver the product directly to the customer. There is also the
opportunity to self fulfill, which means you will handle delivery of these products on behalf
of your customers.
• If there is any problem or customer complaints, we will handle it on your behalf.
 THE HOTEL MODULE

The Hotel module contains over 1,400 hotels across the 36 states of Nigeria plus
the FCT. The agent gets a commission for every hotel booking made and confirmed
through that website.

• From this website people can search for hotels and then make a reservation.
• Your job as the owner of the website is to market the website and get people to
book the hotels.
• The commission you get varies from hotel to hotel, and you get it via a bank
transfer to you. Commissions from every booking made is 2%. Your customer
that books the hotels can pay for the booking online, or at the hotel when they
check in.
• Your customers will be able to pay using their debit cards, via bank transfers or
pay on arrival.
• If there is any problem or customer complaints, we will handle it on your
behalf.
 FLIGHT BOOKING MODULE

Travel Module allows you to sell international flight tickets to people traveling to any
part of the world from any part of the world at competitive prices.
• The website you get supports payments in  Naira, Dollars, Euros, Pounds and
some African currencies. This means that you can sell flight tickets to almost any
international airport in the world. You can sell tickets to  London, Dubai, New
York, China... almost anywhere is possible.
• From your website, people just enter the dates and the location they like and we
will give them up to 250 different options with prices.
• All major airlines in the world such as Air France, British Airways, Emirates,
Delta, are available on your website.
• The commission you get is a minimum of N2000. This module also allows you to
increase the prices of tickets slightly, so that you can earn more.
• You will have full access to the contact details of the customer that made the
booking so you can call to confirm everything.
• Your customers will be able to pay using their debit cards, and via bank transfers.
• If there is any problem or customer complaints, we will handle it on your behalf.
 WEB HOSTING MODULE

Web hosting module allows us give you your own website from where you can sell domain
names and web hosting services. For every sale you make, you will earn a commission.

• From this your new website, you will be able to sell any .com, .org, .net and up to 300
different domain extensions for very cheap prices that people will find very attractive.
• Yes, people will find your prices very attractive because you are cheaper than most
companies that sell domain names and web hosting services in Nigeria! For example
whogohost.com sells .com for N3,900 and Domain King sells for N3800... But you
will sell for N3750! So you have a very good advantage.
• For the web server, you will also have a huge advantage. While most companies are
selling per month, you will be charging per day! You will be giving your users full
flexibility.
• If your customers have any question at all, we will handle everything on your behalf,
through the customer support system that comes with the website.
• When you sell domain names or webhosting from your website, you earn a
commission. For domain names the commission depends on the extension the
customer buys... For example, you get 7% commission on every .com. For server
space, you get a 30% commission.
 BUSINESS MODULE

The business module is a special module that makes you a reseller of all
our services using your own brand name. This module allows you to
resell any of our modules to your own customers at whatever price you
choose.

• We have three types of business modules these are:

i. The Business Hotels
ii. The Business Market place,
iii. The Business Webhosting
iv. Each type allows you to sell the corresponding module type.
v. You are allowed to get all three modules so you can resell all three
website types.
vi. The basic commissions on this module is between 20-55%.
 ABOUT THE COMMISSIONS

• Commissions for the marketplace, webhosting, flight booking and business modules are
immediately paid to the Agent's e-wallet at the time of the transaction while the Hotel
module Commissions are credited to the agent's e-wallet at the end of the month when we
receive the booking report for the month.

• Agents can withdraw their confirmed commission at any time.

• On Commissions.ng, our vendors choose the commission that they are willing to give on
each product as they desire. However, products with higher commissions are more likely
to get sold by Agents and the minimum allowed is 5%. 

• As a vendor, listing your products on commissions.ng is FREE.

• There is no minimum amount to earn before you can make withdrawals as we allow you to
withdraw from your balance as often as you wish. However, to prevent abuse of the
system and excessive withdrawals, there is a ₦300 withdrawal fee on every withdrawal
after your first withdrawal. If the balance left in your e-wallet is more than ₦300, then this
fee is taken from the balance. On the other hand, if the balance after withdrawal is less
than ₦300, then the amount to withdraw will be reduced by the withdrawal fee.
 POINTS TO NOTE

if you are not clear, kindly go back to repeat the previous chapters, and at the end of this
course, be rest assured you are a step further to running your site perfectly and being your
own boss.

 Now that we know all about the modules and how commissions are earned, its time to
understand usage of your sites.
