• WWW is a collection if electronic document called web pages that contain

information and resources that can be searched by users
• Usually,web page contain information in the form of text,audio,graphic video
and interactive element
•  A set of related Web pages is called a Web site. An example of a popular Web
site is Wikipedia. 
• Web pages are commonly created by using Hypertext Mark-up
Language (HTML). 
• HTML is the standard mark-up language that is used to specify the placement
and format of information or contents of Web pages, for display on a Web
browser
• In order to access the contents on the Web, users will need to use
Web browsers. 
•  A Web browser is an application that is capable of finding, displaying
and retrieving the information and resources available on the Web. 
•  Popular browsers include Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer,
Safari and Opera.
