Methodologies of a didactic unit
In the didactic unit we work sequentially, in this we take into account aspects such as: the age of the child,
the characteristics of the game and the activities, a sequence of instructions and it tends to have a
communicative and grammatical approach, likewise, the teaching-learning process of the student is
evaluated. The basic principle to take into account is the learning method used, since the students must
have a complete and relevant meaning that relates to their experiences; Furthermore, in order to achieve
the objectives presented by this approach, it is necessary to develop a special didactic method, since
learning is much more effective when the process is enjoyed, such as: using songs, stories or games that
provide fun ways to cover a varied typology of activities, as well as different learning styles. Throughout
this UD, students are always provided opportunities to see, hear, and assimilate language in context
before beginning oral activities. In addition, all the activities are presented through clear models and use
familiar situations. Oral practice is presented in different ways: repetition activities, songs, dialogues where
students take part by reading the transcription, card games that involve saying words, asking questions or
making descriptions to follow the game, role-play activities and question and answer exchanges in pairs.
