Challenges Faced

• Lack of consistent follow ups from day one till the last date
• Engagement of all stakeholders in the loan follow up
process- Districts, Branches, HO management
• Restructuring requests need to presented early for
appropriate reviews
• Staffing of the Follow up division with reasonable staffing
• Not timely renewal of facilities including overdrafts
Way Forward

• Appropriate staffing of the Credit Follow up Division


• Engagement of all stakeholders in the follow up process from
day one till the last date
• Renewal of credit facilities to be timely undertaken with
appropriate follow ups
• Assigning of certain percentages of NPLs into the PMS of
potentially affecting organs of the Bank
