Introduction

Gender discrimination can take place in many

different settings, but typically occurs most
often in education and community. In terms of
education, gender discrimination include claims
of exclusion from educational programs or
opportunities based on gender whereas people
stick to the thought that men are more
intellectually gifted than women, that women
only know real-life-situations reasoning.
Community tend to believe that women are
unable to make decisions as well as men for
women are more emotional than men, while
in the other hand, men tend to keep their
loads and burdens inside them, not showing
any marks of it, in order to show off that
they're worthy of being called as strong,
smart and superior foundation at any
situations it will be.
Statement of the Problem
1.) What are the factors that
trigger the cases of gender
discrimination?
2.) Who are the frequent victims of
gender discrimination? Men or
Women?
Objectives
● To determine how gender discrimination takes
place among the students
● To provide an effective concept for the students to
be aware in their actions regarding this
● To determine the influences of gender
discrimination to the students as one of the factors
affecting their behaviors;
● And to provide valid, reliable and accurate data
results that will be helpful to the future researchers,
students and other concern persons who will have
the privilege to comprehend this piece of work.
Scope and Limitations
This study will be focused on determining the
influences of gender discrimination to the students as
one of the factors affecting their behaviors and how
gender discrimination takes place among students.
Methods and data-gathering materials will be prepared
go come up with accurate, valid and reliable results.
This study will be limited to the students of AMA
Computer College-Legazpi Campus and will not try to
involve students from other schools. It will also be limited
on the appropriate method and data-gathering materials
and will not try to utilize another one.
Methodology
In gathering the needed data, the researcher will use
descriptive method of research for it is a fact-finding study
with adequate and accurate interpretation of the findings.
The respondents of this study will be 70 students from
different tracks/stand and courses; General Academic Strand
(GAS), Technical-Vocational Livelihood Track (TVL),
Accountancy And Business Management (ABM), Humanities
And Social Sciences (HUMSS), Science, Technology,
Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and College Students.
The researcher will assume that the respondents will come
up with reliable and valuable data needed in this study.
Data Gathering Procedures
The researcher will make use of Simple Random
Sampling to choose 70 students from different
tracks/strands and courses (from college department)
to answer the questionnaire. According to Wilson
(2014), "Simple Random Sampling is a sampling
method in survey research that gives each element in
the population an equal chance of being included in
the sample”.
The instrument to be use by the researcher to
collect data will be the survey questionnaire. It
aims to know the students perception about
gender discrimination and how it affects their
behavior. The data collected from the
respondents will be analyze, organize, interpret.
To formulate the concept and framework of the
study and to determine the variables and
indicators to be use, the researcher will read the
related literature and studies related to the study.
The researcher will set and prepare initial draft of
the questionnaire based on the readings.
The researcher will sight the approval of the
students to present the questionnaires. Copies will
be given and distributed to the respondents, having
found the validity and reliability of the
questionnaires. With the help of some confrere and
also with the cooperation of the students, she will
personally provide and supervise the distribution to
70 respondent students who will be randomly
selected. After giving the respondents enough time
to answer, and having 100% reclamation, the data
gathered from the survey will be analyze, organize
and interpreted
