METHOD

EUNICE DIMPLE B. CALIWAG

WHAT IS AN EXPERIMENTAL METHOD IN RESEARCH?
  It is a systematic and scientific approach to research in
which the researcher manipulates one or more variables,
and controls and measures any change in other variables.

 A collection of research designs which uses manipulation

and controlled testing to understand casual processes.

 It is a research method, where one or more independent

variables are manipulated and applied to one or more
dependent variables to measure their effect on the latter.

 It is widely used in physical and social sciences,

psychology, and education. It is based on the comparison
between two or more groups with a straightforward logic.
EXAMPLE:

Do students work as well

when they are using their
cellphones as when they are
sitting at their desk with no
distractions.
IN EXPERIMENTAL METHOD WE HAVE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF
VARIABLES:

 “How well somebody
