Seek immediate medical attention if you have
serious symptoms. Always call before visiting your
doctor or health facility.

People with mild symptoms who are otherwise


healthy should stay at home or contact their medical
provider for assessment.

On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is


infected with the virus for symptoms to show,
however it can take up to 14 days.
What preventative measures can I take against the coronavirus disease?

To prevent infection and to slow transmission of COVID-19, do the following:

•Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based
hand rub.

•Maintain at least 1 meter distance between you and people coughing or sneezing
.
•Avoid touching your face.

•Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

•Stay home if you feel unwell.

•Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.

•Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away


from large groups of people.
 Clean and disinfect surfaces frequently especially those which are regularly touched, such as door handles,
faucets and phone screens.

 Upon entering to malls, schools, offices, groceries, food court,etc., check


your temperature, login to their health declaration form and sanitize your
hands.

 Always wear your face mask and face shield.

 Bring your own alcohol at least 70% alcohol.

 Practice physical distancing.

 Avoid crowded places.

 As possible, avoid dine in any restaurant, do take out or bring your own
food.

 Seek medical attention or call your BHERT (Barangay Health Emergency


Response Team) if you have any symptoms or possible contact of Covid-
19 positive.

Eating right, physical activity, adequate rest and taking care of our mental health not only improves
overall health and wellness, but also makes us more resilient during COVID-19.

 Self-care: Take time to take care of yourself. Meditation, relaxation, quality


time with family, personal care of yourself promotes overall wellness.

> Cope with stress and anxiety: Positive coping mechanisms would include
exercise, meditation, reading, further developing certain skills or hobbies etc

> Stay connected: Talking with loved ones while in


isolation can help reduce the anxiety and instances of
feeling down.
