projects.
Barangay Banaba’s Vulnerabilities
 Located between Nangka and Marikina Rivers which
makes it prone to floods and river bank erosion
 Situated 1 km West Markina fault line and 5-7 km East
of Marikina fault line making it susceptible to
earthquake
 Rapid Urbanization
 Ultra Poor Families
 3,000 families residing
 Majority earns below P1,000 a month and 10% earns
P50/day (identified to fall under the ultra poor category
considering the UN standards)
