The Instructor
◦Dr. Jerrylyn Bacroya-Magbuo has been with FAITH Colleges since 2015 and is the
current Chair of FAITH Colleges - College of Education. She is a graduate of BSE
English, MA in English Education, and a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language
Studies.
◦She gets invited as resource person in various ELT, EducTechnology, and Research
Innovation seminars.
◦Her dissertation on Hanunuo Mangyan oral chants was one of the entries on OGP or
outstanding graduate school paper competition in the International Conference of
Linguistics Society of the Philippines held in Zamboanga last March 2020.
◦Her phenomenological research together with Dr. Titular on constructive learning
was recognized as best qualitative research in the Fu Jen Catholic University
International research competition held at Taipei, Taiwan. Her latest online camp,
Language Revitalization Learning Series is from Northwest Indian Language
Institute of the University of Oregon.
