FIRST OF ALL WHAT IS EMERGENCY BAG?
- A box or bag containing the
equipment, supplies, and medications
needed to provide an initial
assessment and to manage life-
threatening conditions.
1. FIRST AID KIT

- A box, bag or pack that holds


supplies used to treat minor injuries
including cuts, scrapes, burns,
bruises, and sprains.
2. READY-TO-EAT CANNED FOODS

- Foods that have been prepared so


they can be consumed as is, without
any additional cooking, are ready to
eat foods.
3. WATER BOTTLE
- Potable drinking water is the most
essential element of survival. After an
emergency, securing safe, drinkable
water will be your top priority after
evacuation and treatment of injuries.
4. EMERGENCY FLASHLIGHT
- In addition to lighting the way at
night, flashlights can be used to find
people who require rescue, and a
great tool for people who need
rescuing to signal for help.
5. SAFETY WHISTLE
- Can be used to signal to others
around you that you are in need of
help, and will assist search and rescue
teams in locating you if you are lost.28

6. EMERGENCY RADIO
- Radios can provide information
such as times and locations for
provision of emergency water and
food supplies or distribution of relief
goods in the imme- diate aftermath
of a disaster, and then gradually shift
to providing different information for
daily living or to help lift the spirits
of people in the local.
