Chapter - 1 The Background History Of The
Company

TIBEBAT Consulting Architects and Engineers plc. It is a 5th

Category office. Founded in February 2009 E.C by three
architects and two engineers.

Is committed to be the leading industry as the new generation

architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
and technology engineering practices for construction projects.
Their goal is to create better and more efficient environment
and to improve the work place and invests to support its
employees.

It is well known for its sustainable architectural and

engineering practices that have gained recognition and
numerous awards for leadership and success.
 1.2. Work Flow of the Company
It has the following structures:

company

When I start working at the company, I had different options to practice, this options were
designing and modifying.

In general, as a practice of the design process my job was to fill in any work spot, which needed to
be completed. The works that I have been executing were very much engaged in design, and the
drafting parts of buildings.

Throughout this internship time I have worked in different kinds of projects. Such as

FOR MY INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCES

3.1 Teams of the Company I was working in

 There are different Teams within the company. These Teams could work mainly as site work which
deals with all the necessary site work activities and the other is Office work team and the team I
was working on which was on office work section in the design department and I also work on the
drafting part of the design too.
 3.2 SITE VISIT AND ACQUIRED EXPERIENCES

executed according to the approved plans.

In addition, the location and size are refer from approved design
and schedules.

The Architect keeping in track the implementation of the construction is the most crucial thing of one construction
because every detail the architect thought in the design process needs to be executed with a lot of sensitivity.
Chapter - 4 ASSESSMENT OF THE INTERNSHIP

4.1 Skills and experiences gained from the internship

4.2 Challenge of the internship
 Spending a constant working hours throughout the week was hard
 Not having enough experience in some of the designs I had encountered.
 The firm did not have enough computer in case of qualities in office working computer

 In terms of being punctual

 Using different software than I used to Know
 Some measures for the problems

 In terms of being punctual, I tried waking up early to work and to be on time every day.
 In terms of the lack of experience in spending this much time working in the firm every week I tried
working on improving my ability to work much more hours and be programmed to cover the
working hours of the firm
 Conclusion and Recommendation
 Architecture can not only have achieved by theoretical part.
 In my internship time, I had been involved different types of projects like, school,
residences, mixed uses, villa and landscape.
 There were different challenges, which I had faced, but as much as possible I try to solve
those problems.
 I am also able to differentiate between architecture at school & architecture at office

Recommendation
 I would highly recommend this experience to any dedicated architecture student.
 In my perception for architecture life, it is not the only concern on the client brief, but we have to be
influential and play a big part to introduce our real architectural style. Ones that is often over looked,
knowing about history, cultural preservation, restoration will be a tool to reveal of our architectural style.
