WHAT IS A TRAINING DESIGN?
It is developing new training and educational courses and lessons for employees. It roots out
the gaps in training and fills them with new material for better performance. It also allows your
team to grow their skills rather than becoming static in their roles.

THREE - DAY SCHOOL-BASED SEMINAR - WORKSHOP
ON STRATEGIC
INTERVENTION MODULES DEVELOPMENT

In adherence to the division call for school-based In-Service training (INSET), the organizers of
the INSET programs will be the school to minimize high expenditures and are tailored to the
needs of the teachers as well as the school system.

This will 1) help promote the continuous improvement of the total professional staff of the
school system; 2) eliminate deficiencies in the background preparation of teachers and other
professional workers in education; 3) keep professional abreast of the new knowledge; 4)
release creative activities; and 5) give much needed support to the teachers who are entering a
wider responsibility or a new field of work especially the new teachers and old ones whose
knowledge are already obsolete.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
 The Three - Day School-Based Seminar - Workshop on Strategic Intervention Modules
Development will enable the participants to:

1. Improve their teaching strategies, techniques, and methodologies so as to align with the
goals and objectives of the Department of Education

2. Enrich their knowledge and skills in all the competencies prescribed by the DepEd
especially the least learned skills so as to increase performance of students in the National
Assessment Test (NAT)

3. Develop strategic intervention modules for the Students at Risk of Dropping Out
(SARDO) and use the SIM in saving them.
