on the back side of fuse & relay box.

Earth 24V

CONNECTOR

CN-10, Fuse: F15 OPT2 AUTO GREASE (10A)

Primary current of battery relay.

CN-9, Fuse: F16 OPT HAND CONTROL (5A)

Secondary current of lever lock relay.

CN-8, Fuse: F31 OPT1 (20A) 12V Power Supply

Secondary current of battery relay. (DC-DC Converter) is OPT.
SAFETY RELAY
Dynamic Acera

< Acera Geospec >

• Alternator terminal P & L is
ALTERNATOR not used.
• Safety relay is changed to
normal type.
• Safety relay is controlled by
SAFETY RELAY signal from controller.

ALTERNATOR

SAFETY RELAY
ALTERNATOR (TERMINAL L)
Work of alternator terminal “L” is changed in Acera Geospec.
< Previous Alternator >
When alternator starts to generate, terminal L output 24V.

< Acera Geospec’s Alternator >

When turn ON key switch (Engine doesn’t start), terminal L is
connected with the earth in alternator.
When terminal B voltage exceeds battery voltage (Engine started and
Alternator starts to generate), terminal L is disconnected from the earth
in alternator.

Circuit of HOUR METER and CHARGING

SIGNAL TO CONTROLLER was changed.
ALTERNATOR RELAY
Alternator relay is newly applied in Acera Geospec.
This is controlled by earth signal of alternator terminal L.
< RELAY POINT >
KEY SW “OFF”: CLOSE Secondary current of alternator
KEY SW “ON”: OPEN relay is passed only while
E/G RUNNING: CLOSE running the engine.

< Function of Alternator Relay >

1. Power supply to HOUR METER, and CHARGING SIGNAL input to
controller. (Covering function of previous alternator terminal L.)
2. Protection of BATTERY and BATTERY RELAY from SURGE
CURRENT. (Battery relay holding function.)
The battery relay is held by secondary current of AIS relay 2 and Alternator relay while
working machine.
When mechatro controller breaks down while operating, battery relay is held by Alterna
tor relay though point of AIS relay 2 opens.
