What is multiplication?

Multiplication is repeated addition.


When we say “4 x 3 = 12”, we can
think of it as starting at 0 and adding
3 four times over.;
0 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12
 Multiply the multiplicand by the multiplier to get the
product.
 Multiplier tells the number of times with which we
multiply.
 Multiplicand is the number that gets multiplied.
 Product is the result/answer of multiplication.
