Waste?

The waste material that can be


easily broken down into non-
poisonous substances that can be
decomposed and recycled easily is
called biodegradable waste.
Example: Kitchen waste, paper bits,
etc. Biodegradable means that the
material naturally breaks down into
smaller components, such as sugars.
Biodegradation is the process by
which organic substances are
decomposed by micro-organisms into
simpler substances such as carbon
dioxide, water.
