• So let us now atart identifying the different part that
we used in our study
• Our study used the descriptive survey method of
research. It will be both qualitative and quantitative. It
will involve collecting qualitative information about
determining the effects of modular distance
learning. . Furthermore, this will improve organizing,
summarizing and presenting data in descriptive way.
•
• Research Environment
• The locale of the research study is the
Calubcub 1.0 Senior High School that has 17
respondents. In this study, the researchers
assure that the type of environment is
accurate with numbers of respondents who
could contribute to the study.
• Respondents of the Study
• We distributed the copies of questionaire
through googleform to the respondents.
Descriptive sampling techniques was utilized
by the researcher since we can purely
consider the purpose of the study, along with
the understanding of the target respondets.
•
• Data Gathering Procedure
• The rsearchers constructed a questionnaire checklist, validated by
the professor then the questionnaire checklists are distributed by
the researcher. We conduct the research in Calubcub 1.0 Senior
National Highschool through google form, because of the
advantages of the survey method and also due to Covid 19
protocols. WE researchers clarities some terms to the respondents
so that the respondents can answer the questionnaire with ful
knowledge of their responsibility as the subject of the study. We
requested to the respondents to answer with all honesty.WE uses a
descriptive sampling, to determine the effects of Modular Distance
learning to the Grade 12 HUMMS student, we belleves that this
method is the most approprnate in choosing the sample tor the
research. After the respondents answered the questionnairewe
collected it and talied the data for interpretation.
Statistical Treatment of Data

• The following statistical measures were used to analyze the data gathered:
•
• Frequency-This method was used to organized tabulation/graphical
representation of the number of individuals in each category on the scale
of measurement. [1] It allows the researcher to have a glance at the entire
data conveniently.
•
• Percentage-This method was used to report when the responses have
discrete categories and when it is important to know how many of the
participants gave a particular answer..
•
• Total number of respondents-This method was used to tell the actual
number of respondents that answered the questionaire.
• With a weighted mean of 3.17 it is evident that the students
feels stress when they are struggling with the lesson that
they can’t understand,It is also evident that it is clearly
presented in Modular Distance Learning.. Also, students
experience a frequent behaviors of emotions when they are
lack of time to keep up with their modules and it was clearly
evident, with a weigthened mean of 3. Consequently, the
certain experiences of struggling because of the lesson is
too hard for of Grade 12 HUMMS 3 students was evident,
with a weighted mean of 2.52.With a composite mean of
2.94, it could be noted that the respondents had a problem
in mental health when modular learning starts as to certain
experiences since most of the questionaire were evident.
• Table 2 presents the factors that affecting the students mental
health in Modular Distance Learning. The topmost problem that
they encounter was that they are struggling because the lesson
is too hard for them with a frequency of 12.Then with a
frequency of 10, they can’t manage their time and balance their
homework against their housechores. Consequently,respondents
don’t have regular contact with class peers who can help them to
offer reminders and encouragement to study got a frequency of
6.Lastly it didn’t understand what’s in the module and I have no
one to ask for help acquired a frequency of 5.With this it could be
said that Modular Distance Learning has a great factor in affecting
the students mental health.
