    •Length of drill collars = 800 ft


    •Weight of drill collar = 92 lb/ft
    •Weight of drillpipe = 21 lb/ft
    •Total depth to be drilled = 21,000 ft
    •Density of mud = 14.5 ppg
    •Maximum allowable overpull = 135,000 lbf

    Calculate the safety factor at this situation. The buoyancy factor is 0.78.
