 DEFINITION OF PROCEDURE TEXT

Procedure text is a text that explains or helps the reader of

the text how to make or use something. This text describe
how something is completely done through a sequence of
steps.

2. AIM/GOAL
This text contains about purpose of making about something. It’s ususally on the title
2. MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT
This parts contains the ingredients thst are used in the making of something
But, sometimes a procedure text does not have materials section.
3. Steps/Method
Contains the sequence of steps that must be done so that the objective outlined in
the aim/goals to be achieved. The steps must be sequence form first to the last

- Use adverbial of sequence/using temporal conjunction (first, second, last,

etc)
- Use command/Imperative sentence (cut the…, wash the…, boil it…, etc)
- Use adverbials to express detail of time, place, manner accurately
- Using action verbs (take, boil, make, etc)
- Using Simple Present Tense (Usement of V1)
 PURPOSE OF THE TEXT

- To explain or tell the reader how to make/do something through a sequence

of actions or steps
- To explain steps/instruction to make/operate/do something

On conclusion, the purpose of procedure text is to guide the reader to do or

make something. The information is presented in a logical sequence of events
which is broken up into small sequenced steps.

How To Insert SIM Card Cellphone
Cellphone is a modern communication device which connect one to the others by
voices, written message, or data. However this devices can not work until the
SIM Card is included to the Cellphone. So here are how to insert the SIM Card to
the cellphone :
1. first, press the locking catch and slide the cover and lift it off the phone
2. After that, push two catches in the opposite directions and removes the battery
3. Next, slide the SIM Card carefully into the slot and make sure the golden
connect arson are afacing to the connector of the phone
4. Then, put the battery and align in until snaps into its place
5. Finally insert the two catches of the back cover corresponding slot in the
phone and slide the cover forward button of the phone until locks into places.
6. Don’t forget to switch on the cellphone. Wait until it is ready to use.
