 DEFINITION
Procedure text is a type of text that is written to
explain how to do something. It's a step-by-step
explanation of a process or a set of instructions.
Procedure text is used in many contexts, such
as manuals, recipes, scientific experiments, or
instructions for assembling products.
PURPOSE OF THE TEXT

To explain how something can be done such as

1. directions, recipes, instruction manual, and itineraries.

To show the reader how something is

2. made/used/done through sequence of steps.
GENERIC STRUCTURE
1. Aim / Goal ; title
2. Ingredients / Materials : Explain
what materials or tools are used.
3. Steps / Methods : contains steps
to achieve the goal.

How to turn on a computer
Computers are one of the electronic devices that are currently often used
to facilitate human work. Before we use it, this computer must be operated
first. In the operation of the computer must follow each procedure steps how
to turn on the computer properly. How to turn on the computer? Follow the
steps below how to turn on the computer correctly :

1. Open the monitor, CPU, keyboard and printer cover.

2. Make sure the switch that provides electric current is connected to the
power cable to the stabilizer or the computer CPU
3. Press the power button on the CPU and monitor power button.
4. The computer will boot, wait for this process to complete.
5. After booting, the computer is ready to use.
