What is procedure text?
Procedure text is text that explain how
to make something works or how to
use instruction / operation manuals.
Example:
How to use computer
How to make fried rice
How to iron the clothes
The purpose of procedure text
The purpose procedural text is to tell the reader how to
do or make something. The information is presented in
a logical sequence of events which is broken up into
small sequenced steps. These texts are usually written
in the present tense. The most common example of a
procedural text is a recipe.

3 types of procedural text that
doesn’t use materials, that are
1. Use imperative sentence (commands), ex: cut, do, don’t mix, etc
2. Using action verbs /s.present such as turn, put, mix, etc
3. Using connective (conjuctions) , ex : first, then, after that, when
while, etc
4. Using adverbial to declare the detailed time, place an accurate
way, ex: for 5 minutes, 2 hours, etc
