Theorem. The inverse of every element
in G is unique.

›Let ‘e’ be the identity in the
element G.

›Let a E G
Suppose b and c are inverse of
a in G. By definition of inverse:
›a*b=e & b*a=e
›a*c=e & c*a=e
›b=c
We have:
b*(a*c) = (b*a)*c
b*e = e*c
b=c
