METHODOLOGY
A. MATERIALS

• 3 Carton boxes
• Spray bottle
• Scissor
• Pot
• 1 bunch of unripe Cardava banana
• 400 ml distilled water
• 6 leaves of Carica papaya
• 6 leaves of Gliricidia sepium
• 250g of calcium carbide
B. Procedure
1. Collection of Papaya and Madre de Cacao leaves

• It will be collected at Loay, Zone 2, Santa Cruz,


Davao del Sur
• It will be handpicked and will be place in the
plastic bag.
• To remove the unnecessary dirt, it will be wash
using water.
2. Preparation of Papaya and Madre de Cacao leaves extract

• It will cut the Papaya and Madre de Cacao Leaves into


medium pieces.
• 400 ml of boiling water will be poured over about 6 leaves
of dried and chopped Papaya and Madre de Cacao leaves
separately.
• Will covered tightly and set aside and steep for an hour or
until it comes to room temperature and will be filtered.
• The filtration with extract should be 100% concentrated.

4. Applying the Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer

• The researchers will use three boxes for the treatment.


• Each box contains a bunch of bananas.
• 50 ml of papaya leaves extract will spray to the one box
that contain a bunch of banana.
• 50 ml of Madre de Cacao leaves extract will spray to the
one box that contain a bunch of banana.
• 250g of calcium carbide will be place to another box that
containe a bunch of banana.
