INTRODUCTION
• Rainwater harvesting system at HPKK divided into 2 zone.
• Water volume collected and stored by Rainwater harvesting tank 1 & 2 for irrigation system.
• Each zone will collect a volume of water catchment from rooftop/ any catchment area at
hospital and connected to 300mm UPVC main pipe.
• 200mm UPVC dropper pipe will distribute collected water from rooftop to 300mm main
pipe and filtered by (Bacfree Engineering) main filter before rainwater harvesting tank
storage for irrigation purposes.
• 150mm UPVC pipe located at LG level connected to perimeter sump (drain) and connected
to 300mm UPVC pipe.
• 100mm UPVC pipe located at landscape area (landscape floor trap) connected to 300mm
UPVC pipe.

ROOT CAUSE
• During heavy pour, high pressure of water collected from above rooftop level will pass through
200mm UPVC dropper pipe
• Water volume collected and stored by Rainwater harvesting tank 1 & 2 for irrigation system.
• Each zone will collect a volume of water catchment from rooftop/ any catchment area at
hospital and connected to 300mm UPVC main pipe.
• 200mm UPVC dropper pipe will distribute collected water from rooftop to 300mm main pipe
