Part 1

• I come from a small family. My immediate family is my parents and

my older sister. She is already married and has 2 children, so they no
longer live in my house. In addition, my house, being an inheritance
from my maternal grandfather, is divided into departments, so we
share it with my mother’s family and my cousins. Each one in their
space but we always have a moment to share with the family.
• I am not an only child; I have a sister 8 years older than me. We
always get along very well despite the age difference. She tells me
that when I was little, she treated me like her doll and walked me
around, dressed and combed to her liking. As soon as she got home
from school and did her homework, she helped my mom take a bath
and get me ready for bed. We are very close.
• yes, in fact my family is very united. I live with most of my maternal
family, and we always get together for birthdays or special holidays. In
turn, with my paternal family, despite the fact that we do not live so
close, we always look for a moment to be together. Several cousins
are already living abroad, but now technology allows us to be much
closer than before.
• What I like most about my family is the complicity that exists between
all of us. Even though my sister and I are already adults and each one
has already made her own life, we are very close to our parents, and
we always look for the moment to spend time with the family, just the
4 of us, like when we were little. So, they don't feel alone.
• With my family we really like to leave Lima to go to the pool. Relaxing
with nature and enjoying the pool or the beach is our best plan. We
also really like going out to eat seafood as it is our favorite. Our
favorite restaurant is called puro tumbes. The variety of ceviches is
exquisite.

• My name is Maria Lucia, I am a civil engineer. I studied at the Ricardo
Palma University. I've been in my career for 5 years now and I love it. I
work at UNICON, which is the main concrete production company in
Peru. I have been working in this company for 4 years now as a quality
control analyst. I am in charge of reviewing the quality of the products
and responding to customers in case of any incident.
