Using Keepa Premium Data Access

Put all the criteria in Keepa Finder and


export results in excel file

NOTE: Keep only these columns

-Brand
-Category
-ASIN

Exporting Excel File and Adding extra columns

• Remove all irrelevant columns and add the columns circled in red and your
final sheet should look like this.
Taking out Brand’s leads step wise

• Go to google.com > Settings at right bottom > Scroll down to region


setting > Select desired marketplace you’re working in.

• Go to google.com > Search brand like “Brand name USA”

• Head over to Brand’s website and take out Email, phone or contact
form

• Fill the information taken out in the previously told excel sheet.

NOTE: Also try to find brands on their social media pages, try finding on LinkedIn too.

Do the same for UK and other marketplaces


Alongside Brands, take out their distributors as well

• Create another sheet in excel file and name it


distributors

• Add following columns into the sheet

• To search distributors > select relevant region > search distributors


like “Brand-name Distributor USA”

Do the same for UK and other marketplaces


Removing Duplicates from excel file

• To remove duplicates you should head over to data tab


in excel file and select remove duplicates.
• NOTE: Always
remember to remove
duplicates, if you
don’t then you will be
contacting same
brands/distributors
multiple times and
• To remove duplicates in brand’s sheet (select brand column > go to data and
select remove duplicates > expand selection > unselect all and select only that does not give a
Brand > remove duplicates. good impression
• To remove duplicates in Distributors sheet, always remember to save name of distributor
by double clicking on website URL on name. That’s how you can make sure to always
copy same name when distributor is repeating and then follow the same procedure on
name column to remove duplicates in Excel sheet.
What is reverse sourcing?

•Reverse sourcing is a direct product-based approach for


targeted product hunting.

•Criteria in put for product hunting on Keepa, Helium or any


other product research tool in the first step.

•The products that open up after the search are search through
google using their title keywords and we add the word US
Wholesale in front of that produc to find direct sourcing of
those products.
What is seller spying technique?

•It is a technique in which we check for new sellers on


Amazon to check their store fronts to find the data of their
products that what products are they selling being a new
seller.

•This helps us to identify product and their brands to see that


they might have potential to get brand approvals to resell and
might be easy to convince.
Checking for Amazon Top Sellers

• We check through Keepa the list of the top 1000


sellers on Amazon to see what products are they
selling.

• We apply the product hunting criteria in Keepa and Also,


we add that seller ID to it, so we only check the items
that is sold by that particular top seller.

• The items which have potential and space for new


sellers we check for their sourcing then.
Manual Product Research Technique

• We do it without tools.

• Open Amazon.com and click best sellers.

• Choose a main category and then go deep into the main


categories to search for products selling best in those
subcategories.

• Manually we then search sourcing distributors on google


search.
General Points for Product Selection

• Recommended Price to list a product should be above 15$, so we wil get profit.
• Check Sellers careful y, If they have lot of feedbacks then avoid such products.
• Amazon prefers FBA over FBM.
• 90 days Average BSR is preferable.
• Don’t go for products which has only 1 FBA sel er.
• Amazon or Brand should not be sel ing or Out of Stock. (Should see for 1 year)
