Learning intention
To describe the characteristics and classify the groups of animals
called invertebrates.

Invertebrates
There are millions of different types of invertebrates. Invertebrates are
animals without a backbone.
Many invertebrates have a skeleton on the outside called an
exoskeleton.
Other invertebrates, like worms and slugs, have a hydrostatic skeleton
and use their muscles and other features to move.
