Primarily I would thank God for being able to complete this project with success. Then I
would like to thank my English teacher Ms. Komal Uppal whose valuable guidance has
been the ones that helped me patch this project and make it full proof success his
suggestions and his instructions has served as the major contributor towards the
completion of the project . I would also like to extend my appreciation to the entire
project team. Their dedication, collaboration, and hard work have been integral in
achieving the project's goals. Each team member's unique skills and contributions have

 Introduction

I'm presenting a project on the topic "Interview of Old lady". This topic is
based on the poem my mother at sixty six. The poem talks about the ageing
and various situation faced by aged people who are separated from their
children. Through this project I have tried to give all the information about
an old lady who's courageously and happily living her life in Old age home.
To complete this project I went to an Old age home with my group. There I
took interview of 91 year old woman and asked her some question related
to the topic. Although it was a new experience but it was difficult to find
the right person for this project.
 Objective

Here objective of this project is to document and analyze the life experiences, challenges,
and perspectives of an elderly resident from an old age home through an interview-based
approach. This project aims to foster empathy, understanding, and awareness regarding
the circumstances and emotions of senior citizens living in such environments.
Additionally, it seeks to develop research, communication, and presentation skills among
the students, allowing them to create a comprehensive and insightful portrayal of the
elderly individual's life story.

The project report presents an insightful interview with Mrs. Tsering Dolma, a remarkable
elderly woman with a wealth of life experiences and wisdom to share. The purpose of this
interview was to gain a deeper understanding of her life journey, challenges faced, and the
valuable lessons she has learned over the year’s.
Background Information: Mrs. Tsering Dolma, born on 1932,in a small village in Tibet , has no
family and witnessing significant historical events at a very young age. She grew up in Tibet, but
because of the dispute between China and Tibet she was forced to leave Tibet all alone that shows
how strong and brave she is. Currently she lives in namgyal monestry old age home Dhalli ,
Shimla. Her experiences have shaped her into the wise and resilient woman she is today.

The interview with Mrs. Tsering Dolma provided a unique and enriching opportunity to
gain insight into a life well-lived. Her experiences, challenges, and the wisdom she has
acquired serve as an inspiration for individuals of all ages. This project serves as a
testament to the value of preserving and learning from the stories of our elders.
