IDEA
A systematic instruction method that develops students’ IDEA
language skills, cognitive domains and global personality
skills through valuable projects (Ribe & Visdal, 1993) “student-centered and driven by the need to create
an end-project”(Fried-Booth, 2002); a means to
create an end project in a real-world environment

IDEA
An instructional approach that contextualizes learning by
presenting learners with problems to solve or products to
dvelop ( Moss & Van Duzer 1998)
PBL in second language and foreign language classes is
an in-depth learning focusing on real-world problems and
challenges that engage students who work as a team through
meaningful activities resulting in an end project. (Dhieb-Henia,
1999)
