 Introduction:
 The interschool literature festival is our school’s first
literature festival in which students from 30 schools
could participate.
 This huge event lasted for 3 days(16th-18th February
2023)
 There were more than 800 students at the program.
 The guests, principal and director all gave wonderful
speeches.
 The honorable guest was-
 Prof. Fr. Patrick D. Gaffney, CSC, PhD, Vice Chancellor
of Notre Dame University Bangladesh
Inauguration ceremony on 16th February,
2023 (The first day)
In this part of the program, Fr. Patrick, Principal sir, Director sir, and
teachers of other schools flew a banner using balloons and started
the program by lighting candles.
 The pop-art exhibition
There was an exhibition of art created by the students of SJIS
and other schools. Which was very exciting as we could see
the creativity of those students. These arts often include
things of the abstract(online things- cartoons, TV shows, etc.)
And those of the real world ( cultural things- sculptures, etc.).

content creation
• Auditions
• And much more exciting
events.
 The stage performance
 Film screening of short film
 English group song
 English group dance
 Bangla group song
 Extempore
 Poem recitation
 Single drama
 Etc.
 There were giant statues
These were put right out side the basketball court where the program
took place. According to the theme of the event it fitted in very well.
Faculty of our school and other schools
The support from the teachers of our school and
from the teachers of other schools inspired in
many ways. This helped us to learn the power of
unity. And it also helped us to acknowledge the
amazing power of friendship (as many people of
different schools became friends with people of
our school).
 Prize giving ceremony

After the final rounds of our events there

was a glorious prize giving ceremony on
the last day(18th February 2023) which was
held in our basketball court.
Our dear Principal and Director sir were
on live television
Because of the importance and size of the event many news channels and
news papers wanted to cover the topic. National news channels such as
Desh TV and a few more had spoken with our respected principal and
director sir.
