WHAT IS QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH?

QUANTITATIVE researchers used this to observe situations or

events that affect people. It is the process of collecting and analyzing numerical
data; used to find patterns and averages, make predications, test relationships,
generalize results for large populations Bandari, 2023; Allen, 2017.

RESEARCH DESIGN There are four main types of Quantitative research:

Descriptive, Correlational, Causal-Comparative/Quasi-Experimental, and Experimental Research
CORRELATIONAL attempts to determine the extent of a
relationship between two or more variables using statistical data. In this
type of design, relationships between and among a number of facts are
sought and interpreted.

CAUSAL-COMPARATIVE The causal-comparative
research method is used to identify a cause and effect relationship
between two variables, where one variable is dependent and another is
independent. It has aspects in common with experimentation but
cannot be considered a true experiment

a scientific approach using two sets of variables. uses the
scientific method to establish the cause-effect relationship
among a group of variables that make up a study.

The findings of this study are specific to the

context of the BTLEd students in Davao del

Norte State College. The possibility for the

general applicability of the findings was limited

by the scope, and the sample.
