So,
% = f/n x 100 TRSF
Where: WM = ---------
% = percentage N
Where:
f = number of respondents for
every item WM = stands for weighted mean
F = stands for frequencies
N = total number of respondents RS = stands for Rank Scale
TRSF = stands for the product of
Rank Scale and frequency
N= total number of respondents

Discussion of Results
Table shows that the level of students
decisions-making and interest is the main factor
in choosing their course of preference with an
average weighted mean of
4.39 ,this means that most of the grade nine
students choose their course according to its
interest and skills, followed with the level of
students future job opportunities with an
average weighted mean of ( 3.78). This means
that they consider the likelihoods on the future
job opportunities globally in demand courses.
Hence, the level of students’ consideration about
the institution and level of students’ peer
influence suggestively give slight impact on the
career –decision making of some grade nine
students.

among the grade nine students of the Kabasalan
National High School. Where, it should be carefully-
well chosen because it affects their vocation and
profession in near future.
Therefore, the schools should assess students
