NANO-TECHNOLOGY
DEFINED:
NANO-TECHNOLOGY
 Nano-Technology refers to science, engineering, and
application of materials (Thiessen, 2015).

 It’s use of materials on the scale of molecules can allows

precise to control over their properties.

 It’s a field of science that deals with the manipulation at

the atomic level.

 It dedicate to designing, producing, and using structure,

devices, medicine and many more. (Pantalla, 2022)

02INTRODUCTION
CARBON FIBER:
INTRODUCTION TO
 Nano Carbon fiber is a material made of carbon nanotubes.

 Carbon fiber is an extremely strong and lightweight

material, which is much stronger than a steel (Jennings ,
2016).

 It’s commonly used in industries such as aerospace,

automotive, and sports.

 It’s often used in parts that requires low weight and high
strength such as body panels and structural supports. (Behance, 2012)

FIBER ON SOCIETY:
THE EFFECT OF CARBON (Gilboy, 2019)

 Carbon fiber has economic benefits on society.

 Carbon fiber has been used in a various industrial

applications such as aerospace, automotive and
sports equipment.

 Carbon fiber is a lighter and stronger material.

 It has environmental impact on society (Technol, (Shalynn, 2015)

2017).

 It is innovation, increased durability, aesthetic appeal

and it has developed high-performance products.

CONSEQUENCES:
THE UNEXPECTED
 Carbon fiber production contributes to greenhouse
gas emissions.

 Carbon fiber is difficult to recycle and can end up in (Jason, 2019)

landfills.

 Carbon fiber composites can be difficult to repair,

(Ginger, 2018)
leading to increased costs and waste (Harris, 2017).

 Carbon fiber has environmental impact, limited color

options, fire risk, strength limitations and it is
sensitive to impact.

:
CONCLUSION
 Carbon fiber is a material with many benefits.

 The increased use of carbon fiber can have negative impacts

on society, the environment, and human health.

 Carbon fiber has potential negative impacts which can lead to

climate change.

 The carbon fiber industry is growing rapidly, and it is

important to ensure that its growth is sustainable and (Henry, 2020)
responsible.
