Kakshya hrasa(Reduction in the length of life)
1. When malefic planets occupy lagna or the seventh house
2. When malefic planets are in the fifth and ninth house from the lagna
3. Atmakarak is debilitated
4. When Saturn is associated with the lagna lord or hora lagna lord.
5. When Saturn is in the lagna/ eight house or hora lagna
8. When Jupiter is in a kendra and has the aspect of Mars and Saturn
9. When Moon is in the 8th or 12th house from lagna then there is kakshya hrasa. This clause is not
applicable for Karka rasi.
10. If Jupiter is occupies a place from lagna and is dwara rasi and Saturn is placed in the bhoga
rasi from it, then there is kakshy hrasa or reduction in life.
